EMA updates: training, Stop the Bleed, RABRAI planning and partnerships with local groups

Kim Elder reported on Emergency Management Agency activities: multiple training opportunities are underway in Marshall County, EMA has secured training supplies that local EMS providers can rent, and RABRAI planning is in progress with several plans pending finalization.
Public Health staff added that Stop the Bleed training was provided to Secondary Roads and school transportation employees and that the department has begun meetings with community partners — including a planned back-to-school event on Aug. 16 — and discussions with Vision to Learn to expand vision-screening and eyeglass services in Marshall County.
