Applicant Judy Allen said the company currently employs about 24 people and described the manufacturing steps—cutting and bending raw steel, welding, and final assembly—with painting outsourced. "Currently, we have about 24," Allen said when asked about staffing levels. Allen said the operation would provide additional parking and landscaping required by the city and that the company supported the staff conditions.
Councilmember Mayor Pro Tem Luck moved to approve the SUP as presented; the motion was seconded and carried unanimously. Staff and the applicant said plan and permit details will return to staff reviews for engineering, landscaping and parking compliance.
