County board adopts 2026 Forestry Department annual work plan and appends to land-use plan

The Douglas County Board approved Resolution #4-26 to accept and adopt the Forestry Department’s 2026 Annual Work Plan and to append it to Chapter 3000 of the county’s 2021–2035 Comprehensive Land-Use Plan.
The resolution also directs the Forest, Parks & Recreation Committee to forward the 2026 Annual Work Plan to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Committee action was unanimous and the motion to adopt (Supervisor Baker, second Supervisor Moen) carried.
