At its July 1 meeting the Falmouth Conservation Commission moved several hearings to later dates so applicants could supply additional materials or secure other agency reviews. Staff told the commission that applicants for 38 Squibnocket Drive asked for more time to address a detailed five‑page staff report; that 15 Dairyland LLC needs to resolve zoning questions before the commission can complete its review; and that the enforcement matter for the Mary Anne Pesci Choate property would be continued while the owner works with engineers and a restoration firm. Commissioners agreed to continuances ranging from July 22 to August 22 depending on the application.
Staff summarized the reasons for the delays: missing Natural Heritage comments and file numbers, outstanding staff comments, and necessary zoning or DEP steps. As staff put it during the meeting, "They wanted time to address our staff reports," which commissioners accepted as grounds for continuance. The continuances mean no final permits or enforcement determinations were issued on those matters at the July 1 meeting.
