Hutto Chamber reports membership growth, announces Old Time Day and LEAD HUTTO program

The Hutto Chamber of Commerce told council its membership recently passed the 400 mark, with Joe Gonzales—identified as chamber chairman—saying the organization now lists about 440 members and has added roughly 30 since the last update.
Gonzales reviewed upcoming events and programs: Old Time Day is scheduled for Oct. 11 (the mayor is slated to participate in a dunking booth fundraiser), applications are open for LEAD HUTTO with a January 8, 2026 program start, and the chamber plans a small-business “Rise and Shine” workshop series. Gonzales also said the chamber plans an advocacy committee to track local and state legislation that affects area businesses and highlighted a recent Texas–Korea business event that drew about 190 attendees.
Council thanked the chamber for growth and outreach and discussed event logistics for Old Time Day.
