Henderson to solicit bids for aerators to curb lagoon odors; lift station and meter updates reported

Green told the board three flow meters have been installed at the lagoons. The 4th Street lift station equipment is on hand but the city will delay installation until after the West Tennessee State Fair; East Lagoon cleaning is scheduled to begin in about two weeks. The actions are intended to reduce odor complaints and maintain wastewater infrastructure; no contract award was recorded at the meeting, only authorization to solicit bids and accept the low/responsive bidder.
