Maria Reiner Center executive director previews summer programs and October health fair

Aimee Schallenkamp, executive director of the Maria Reiner Center, told the board July 2 that the center will host a series of summer events and a fall health fair. "Upcoming: Book Barn at the Summer Markets on Thursdays," she said, and listed planned field trips to a Railcats game and an IUN presentation.
Schallenkamp also announced program dates: an "AI & Disinformation" presentation set for July 23, a Medicare presentation and a Powers Health picnic lunch on July 30, and a Health Fair scheduled for Oct. 16. She asked the board for volunteer support for the Powers Health picnic and said she would "speak with Mayor Josh" to share the board's recommendations. The items were presented as part of the executive director's routine report and no board motion was required.
