Utility Director Darryl Green requested a gate operator for the Utility Operations Building at 60 Record Drive from Gross Fence Co. for $6,975; the board approved the purchase with funding from the building and improvement budget line.
The board also accepted a low quote from West TN Fence to repair the impound‑lot fence for $4,108 after Police Chief Gary Davidson reported proceeds of about $11,000 from recent seized‑car sales that state rules allow to be used for impound‑lot maintenance. Separately, the board approved replacing remaining windows at the fire station with Dyersburg Glass Company for $5,110.90. All three purchases were approved by motion at the meeting.
