Immediately after the regular meeting the Henderson Beer Board approved a separate retail package beer permit for Pragneshkumar A. Patel, doing business as Jay Umiya Foods Inc., at 375 N. Church Ave (the Odens Marathon location). Recorder Garland noted published notice dates in the Chester County Independent, and Police Chief Gary Davidson confirmed that background checks for both Pragneshkumar A. Patel and Kartik Patel "returned good results." Ald. Butler moved to approve the beer permit; Ald. Michael Phelps seconded and the motion carried.
