During the May 6, 2025 meeting the board authorized several contracts and plans. Supervisor Friedrichsen moved and Supervisor McDowell seconded to authorize the Sheriff to sign a contract with Cidnet; that motion carried by all ayes. The board also authorized the Chair to sign a contract with the NW Iowa Planning & Development Commission for $14,077.04 for the SHIELD (Safety program) for fiscal year 2026; that motion was moved by Supervisor Friedrichsen and seconded by Supervisor Thomas and carried unanimously.
Additionally, Supervisor McDowell moved and Supervisor Friedrichsen seconded to authorize the Chair to sign the Cost Advisory Services, Inc. cost-allocation plan for the local Department of Human Services office for Fiscal 2026; the motion carried by all ayes. The minutes record the authorizations and the dollar amount for SHIELD, but do not include the Cidnet contract amount or the detailed cost-allocation schedule.
