Planning commission approves Lewandoski Estates amendment to split Lot 1

The Box Elder County Planning Commission approved an amendment to the Lewandoski (Lewandowski) Estates subdivision on May 21, allowing Lot 1 to be divided into two lots near 6960 West 9600 North in the Tremonton area.
Planning staff said county departments reviewed the amendment and recommended approval. The commission motioned to approve application SS26-007, adopting staff exhibits, conditions and findings with the added conditions that the amendment comply with Chapter 6-1 (Subdivisions) of the Box Elder County Land Use Management & Development Code and Sections 17-79-711 and 712 of the Utah State Code. Commissioner Jared Holmgren moved for approval, Commissioner Jed Pugsley seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
Surrounding land uses were noted as agricultural and rural residential. The commission’s approval requires final compliance with county subdivision standards and state statute before recording.
