Chief Kyle Shockley told the board there were eight new calls since the prior meeting and 31 year-to-date responses. Incidents recorded included: 5/21 I-94 MM 27 (iPhone crash detection); 5/22 I-94 camper/SUV rollover; 5/24 southwest of I-94 Painted Canyon grass fire; 5/25 West River Road/Highway 10 grass fire; 5/28 Magpie Road Northrup structure/grass fire; 6/7 Government Creek Road possible grass fire; 6/8 fire alarm at the 1883 Hotel; and 6/16 fire alarm at the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
The board also recorded that fire alarm and suppression systems at the 1883 Hotel were inspected and signed off as fully operational. An alarm system is in place at the Ranch at Bully Pulpit, the minutes note, but no further action on that system was recorded at the meeting.
