After questions about bed and bumper cost estimates and margin for price changes, the board approved the Ram purchase not to exceed $88,000 and later approved two Durangos not to exceed $134,000 for the pair; both motions carried.
Commissioners and staff discussed fleet management and longer-term carpool funding, noting that irregular vehicle replacement schedules during and after the pandemic have clustered replacement needs for multiple years.
