Board members questioned line‑item details, including why open‑class judging appeared over budget and how the RV park fair surcharge is being recorded. Gabe said the surcharge revenue and its associated expenses are tracked on the County Fair Capital Project Fund spreadsheet and that beginning fund balances for some funds have not yet been rolled forward pending the audit. He urged the board to await the finalized August report for a complete picture.
