Logan County awards multiple road-repair contracts for six-month and one-year terms

The Board of Logan County Commissioners approved a slate of road-repair contracts on June 15, awarding Bid #2027-02 for six-month road-base repair to TJ Campbell Construction for Districts 1, 2 and 3 and contracting Brown Transportation for delivered rock after rejecting pick-up bids.
In related awards, Bid #2027-04 for six-month asphalt products was split: Atlas Asphalt Products contracted for Districts 1 and 2, Haskell Lemon Construction for District 3, and TJ Campbell was awarded crushed asphalt for all districts. The board also approved Bid #2027-05 for six-month asphalt laid in place (Atlas Asphalt Products for Districts 1 and 2; Haskell Lemon Construction for District 3). Motions to award were made and seconded and carried unanimously (Piearcy-AYE, Sharpton-AYE, Coffman-AYE).
The commissions tabled award of Sealed Bid #2026-17 for renovations/upgrades to the Educational Building at the Logan County Fairgrounds until June 30, 2026; the meeting minutes list JNL Construction and Cactus Construction as bidders. Commission votes on the road awards were recorded as unanimous. The board’s procurement actions are intended to cover materials and labor for routine road maintenance and paving across all three districts.
