Nobles County allocated $45,450 from previously opened opioid settlement funds to three local projects during its July 22 meeting. The board approved Application OPF2025.01 for Creative Healing Space ($10,450), OPF2025.02 for the Nobles County Jail ($15,000) and OPF2025.03 for R.A.Y.S Unlimited ($20,000); motions for the awards were moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes.
The minutes say the county opened $150,000 for requests on June 16 and that the awards are intended to support prevention, harm reduction, criminal justice and treatment-recovery activities.
