Mayor Johann Wallace presented awards to two of four winning homeowners in the town’s holiday-decorated-homes contest during the Jan. 8 meeting. Town staff later gave after-action reports on recent community events including the Polar Express, the town Christmas Parade and Holiday Gift Basket distributions.
Councilmember Cynthia Butterworth reported that Karen Lamberton retired and that Justin is serving as interim; she also noted upcoming MPO meeting in February and ongoing food distribution on the third Friday. Mayor Wallace listed upcoming community engagements including a New Year’s Eve reception for the Netcom Commander.
