Executive Committee adds $70,000 to Justice Center remodel, forwards resolution to County Board

On March 31, 2025, the Ozaukee County Executive Committee voted unanimously to revise its Project Fund recommendation (RES.24-55) to add $70,000 to the Justice Center lobby, hallway and Clerk of Courts front-counter remodel. County Administrator Dzwinel asked the committee to authorize the extra funding, saying, "Mr. Dzwinel requested that the committee approve an additional $70,000 to the remodel cost for the Justice Center Lobby, Hallway, and Clerk of Courts Front Counter Update."
Supervisor R. Nelson moved to revise the resolution to include the additional $70,000; the motion was seconded by Supervisor E. Stelter and carried 5-0. The committee then approved the revised resolution and voted to forward it to the County Board for final action; Supervisor R. Holyoke made the motion to approve and forward, seconded by Supervisor R. Nelson. Supervisor P. Foy was recorded as absent.
