The Board of Selectmen approved a $3,261,744 FY26 in‑series transfer to cover a package of costs including recruitment and training for new hires, ADP payroll/timekeeping fees, new grants‑management software, contractual obligations for outside staff, increased phone and fuel costs, life‑insurance adjustments and cleanup from recent storms.
Kim Allen said some changes to life insurance and ADP modules were implemented in FY26 and will carry into FY27. Selectmen asked about the ADP contract status and renewal history; Allen said the town moved some timekeeping to ADP three years ago and parts of the service remain on evergreen terms. The board approved forwarding the request to the Board of Finance as required.
