Visit McKinney previews FC Barcelona camps, pickleball pro event, BMW 0.5 and international youth soccer tournament

Aaron Warner, executive director at Visit McKinney, told the MEDC the Dallas Sports Commission reached out to host FC Barcelona summer camps and clinics at Craig Ranch; contracts have been signed and local youth will be able to participate. "They are pretty familiar with our new Craig Ranch soccer facility," Warner said, noting the facility's suitability for camps and clinics.
Warner also highlighted upcoming events including an all‑star EMT conference at Collin College, the PPA Texas Open professional pickleball tournament in March, the BMW 0.5 marathon on March 28 (more than 60% sold), and the International Girls Cup April 1–5 with teams from Mexico, Colombia, Canada and more than 150 teams expected. Visit McKinney will continue promoting the events and coordinating with parks and recreation.
