Board rejects detention-center WiFi bids, citing large disparity; orders rebid

The motion to reject and rebid was made upon the recommendation of Keri Lyles and passed unanimously.
The item had been accepted and postponed at the May 5 meeting for further qualification; on May 12 the Board concluded that the variations in proposals warranted a new solicitation rather than award. Purchasing will prepare a new bid package and return to the Board with qualified proposals.
