County opens bids for court records conversion, detention services and asphalt work; awards postponed

Keri Lyles opened bids for BID #CC-2145 (electronic copies of court case records), naming Business Imaging Systems, Kofile Technologies, Inc. and Mid-West Printing Company; the Board accepted the bids and asked Purchasing to tabulate and qualify bidders.
Keri Lyles also opened BID #SHE-2146 for inmate food, laundry, kitchen chemical and commissary services; bidders included Benchmark; Commissary Express Inc.; Summit Correctional Services; and Tiger Correctional. Finally, bids were opened for BID #HWY-2149, a three-month contract to provide materials and installation of hot-mix asphalt; bidders included Atlas Paving Company, First Water Contracting, LLC, Haskell Lemon Group, and Silver Star Construction Company, Inc. For each solicitation the Board voted to accept the bids and delay award while the Purchasing Department completes tabulation and qualification.
