Council rezones North Track near 11th Avenue to CO office district

Craig Bennett returned to explain a separate rezoning request for a north track created by a 2024 minor subdivision east of 11th Avenue and south of 59th Street. He said the request would rezone the parcel from C1-N/PD to CO (office district) to allow a commercial business consistent with the CO zone and described the split that left the north track at about 0.67 acres (1.18 acres to centerline). "So we're asking for this to be rezoned from the c1-n/pd to straight c o," Bennett said.
A council member (speaker 7) moved to close Public Hearing 3 and adopt Ordinance No. 8773, suspending successive readings; the motion was seconded and the ordinance passed on recorded roll call votes. Council thanked Bennett for the presentation; no written objections were recorded at the meeting.
