Salem supervisors set meetings; special session scheduled to hire Building Code Official
Summary
After adopting the weight-restriction ordinance, the board adjourned and scheduled a March 5 special meeting and the March 18 regular meeting; supervisors also announced a Feb. 26 special meeting to hire a Building Code Official.
At the close of its Feb. 24 special meeting, the Salem Township Board of Supervisors approved a motion to adjourn and set upcoming meeting dates. Supervisor Bob Zundel moved to adjourn; the board scheduled a special meeting for March 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and the regular meeting for March 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., both at the Salem Township Municipal Building.
Chair Kerry Jobe also reminded attendees of a special meeting on Feb. 26, 2026, that will address hiring a Building Code Official. The minutes record the adjournment time as 7:02 p.m. and state that routine township business, including the audit of posted roads, will continue at the scheduled future meetings.
