Planning board approves subdivision and Tim Hortons final site plan in Macedon

The Wayne County Planning Board on Feb. 25 approved a subdivision and final site plan for a Tim Hortons proposed at 1545 Oakridge Lane in Macedon, part of phase two of the Townhomes of Oakridge Glenn development.
Cole Papasergi of Marathon Engineering introduced the application as a combined subdivision and final site plan. Papasergi said the property "spans 1.8-acres, and will be divided almost evenly at approximately 0.9-acres per subdivided parcel." He told the board the project will extend laterals to provide power and drainage and that an easement from the New York State Power Authority will be required. Papasergi said the team has not yet identified a firm second tenant but does not expect the conceptual layouts to require zoning variances.
Rob Burns moved to approve the subdivision; Dennis Grabb seconded. The motion passed (Ayes 11, Nays 0) with Scott Allen recorded as abstaining. Burns then moved to approve the final site plan and Patricia Marini seconded; that motion passed (Ayes 11, Nays 0) with Scott Allen abstaining.
The approvals allow the applicant to move forward with site-level permitting and utility coordination, including securing any necessary easements from the NYS Power Authority.
