Public Health unveils interactive 2025 report, highlights access improvements and data dashboards

Ottawa County Department of Public Health presented its 2025 annual report, which the department packaged as an interactive online report and summarized in the meeting packet. Public Health Officer Adeline Hambley said the department focused on a one-year strategic plan in 2025 to stabilize operations and align to a three-year accreditation cycle, improving employee engagement and service access.
Key accomplishments the department highlighted include an employee net promoter score that has improved through quarterly pulse surveys and staff-led committees, rollout of online appointment scheduling for clinic services and travel immunizations, a clinic net promoter score of 91 from patient feedback, and development of a real-estate transfer evaluation dashboard that provides public transparency on inspection processing time. Adeline emphasized data-centralization efforts and automation (school illness reporting system) as ways to improve both staff efficiency and public transparency. "Our clinic's net promoter score has consistently remained in the nineties with an overall 2025 score of 91," she said. The department also announced adoption of the statewide MyVax / MiWay program for vaccine exemption education to streamline appointments and online education for families.
