Staff (Cassie, SEG 584–589) said, "We've actually got that documentation done. It involves some oral histories, as well as architectural surveying of the building. And I'm gonna try and get that uploaded to the downtown redevelopment site. And if not that site, then I'll put it on the Historic Pres website." The speaker recommended checking the council agenda for upcoming city council consideration.
Board members also noted newly installed history panels in the breezeway and a recorded Undertold McKinney Black History Month panel available online (mckinneytexas.org/undertold). The updates emphasized staff efforts to preserve and publicize recorded histories and survey work ahead of planned demolition of non‑overlay municipal buildings.
