Committee to refer NACo membership renewal and schedule senior-center audit discussion to full board

Annette Christie told the Finance Committee that the National Association of Counties offered membership renewal at a cost of $3,086 and that she believed the membership was not included in the adopted budget. The committee agreed to refer the NACo membership question to the full Board of Commissioners for discussion and decision.
Christie also said the St. Joe Lincoln Senior Center director requested a meeting with commissioners to discuss the audit process. Because the Finance Committee is the parent committee for Senior Centers, Christie said she will appear on the Senior Centers' April 23 agenda and the committee discussed what background materials they would like prepared for that meeting.
