Public comment requests donor sign for Hallie Park defibrillator

At the June 23 meeting of the Lake Hallie Parks, Recreation and Tourism Commission, commissioners relayed a public request to add a donor sign at a park defibrillator. Cathy and Kent said they received a message from John Standiford asking that a sign saying "Donated by the Standiford Trust and Family" be placed next to the device.
Kent told the commission he will arrange for the sign to be produced and installed in time for Hallie Youth Days. The request was recorded during the public comment portion of the meeting; no motion or vote was required for the sign installation.
