Winhall roads report: culvert replacements completed; French Hollow grant awarded

Trevor Dryden, Winhall's roads foreman, reported to the Selectboard that "two culverts on Old Town Road had been replaced" and that the town had received a grant to replace culverts on French Hollow Road. Dryden and the board discussed proposed engineering studies by Everett Hammon Engineering for projects at the Winhall Hollow bridge near Spencer, Upper Taylor Hill Road, and Benson Fuller Road; the board agreed to delay those studies for now to manage costs.
Dryden also told the board there is no contract yet for the new town plow truck and that he will follow up with the Town Administrator. The Selectboard did not take additional action at this meeting beyond noting the completed culvert work and the grant award.
