Dr. Mendoza presented Arcadia Unified's local indicators for the California Dashboard and tied each indicator to LCFF priority areas. The presentation covered appropriately assigned teachers (clear credential percentages above county and state averages), Williams complaints (none in 2025'26), facilities/fitness inspection results (average about 99.67% in December) and parent engagement metrics.
Mendoza highlighted school climate results showing elementary school connectedness and perceived safety comfortably above the state average on the district-administered surveys. She also reported a district graduation rate of 99.6% and said the district provides broad course access, uses MTSS implementation K'8 and monitors a-through-g completion rates and electives access at the high school. "We are full implementation and sustainability" in many instructional areas, she told the board.
Board members thanked Mendoza and staff for the report and for aligning LCAP, budget and dashboard reporting to show program coherence. Staff said advisory and parent engagement work continues and that the district will publish the local indicators with the dashboard release.
