Transfer Station worker to retire; town awaits salt-shed repair estimates

Facilities manager Scott Bushee told the Selectboard that May 16 would be Jody Rowe's last day at the Transfer Station and that crew members planned a lunch to mark his retirement. Bushee said Walker would provide final estimates to repair the salt shed as part of an insurance claim and that minor repairs, including a library window replacement and covering the ADA ramp at the Community Center, were underway.
Bushee also noted that the Middletown Cemetery stone wall required repair and tree trimming; no funding decisions were recorded at this meeting.
