Superintendent Ingrid Colvard explained the board must approve overnight trips and that in the past special meetings were held for the approvals; she said athletic staff try to prepare in advance. Board members made motions and seconds for each trip and for the football practice; each motion carried without a recorded roll-call tally in the minutes.
