Kevin O'Toole, attorney for property owner Bob Hunter, brought residents from Rogue's Ridge and Moose Hollow to the Selectboard to seek a fix for E911 numbering conflicts. O'Toole said using Hunter's unbuilt road to create a 90-degree intersection would allow both Moose Hollow and Rogue's Ridge to retain their existing addresses, and he described the construction cost as roughly $30,000. "O'Toole suggested each homeowner pay approx. $1500 for road construction," the minutes record.
Scott Bushee, the Town's 911 coordinator, expressed a preference for developing a 'T' configuration while keeping the two roads' numbers the same. Board members emphasized the two roads are privately owned and that the Town lacks jurisdiction over private road layout. The Town Clerk recommended filing a legal document in the Land Records to create a paper trail for any changes. The Selectboard said it would help facilitate discussion but would not assume ownership of private roads without formal steps.
O'Toole offered to meet with homeowners on May 15 at Town Hall to explain the plan; Julie Isaacs said she could provide a mailing list. The Selectboard asked O'Toole to keep them apprised of any progress or decisions. No formal vote or funding commitment was recorded.
