The Tea City Council approved RESOLUTION 26-03-04 on March 2, 2026 to update Figure 6.3, Future Park Considerations, within the Tea 2050 Comprehensive Plan. The motion to approve the resolution (MOTION 26-30, moved by Lynn DeYoung and seconded by Josh Chapman) passed with all members voting AYE.
City staff confirmed the Park Board, Planning Commission and City Council reviewed the updated map before adoption. The resolution states the update is necessary because of changes to the subdivision ordinance’s calculation method for open-space dedication and payment in lieu.
