Sarah Song, the city’s director of utilities, presented six easements required to carry a sanitary sewer alignment that will connect stubbed infrastructure near the expressway, tie into a 16‑inch and 12‑inch water main, and convey stormwater to the NRD outfall channel. Song said three easements are permanent and three are temporary construction easements that will expire about 90 days after construction.
Council approved grouped motions to adopt consecutive resolution numbers (2025‑119 through 2025‑124) to acquire the permanent and temporary easements from multiple landowners, including grants from Gary Henderson, Brent Henderson and Curtis Bates (Bates Properties LLC). Sarah Song said temporary easements provide space for construction activity and that on‑site coordination with affected property owners is underway.
