Commissioners report storm cleanup, culvert failures and approve BIA payment for Enterprise Road overlay

Commissioners provided routine Road and Bridge updates. Commissioner Shane Jones reported crews picked up storm debris, cleaned culverts and prepared Enterprise Road for an overlay. Commissioner Jason Shanks said crews had been mowing, blading, hauling rock and installing culverts and noted that "approximately five to eight culverts have collapsed." Commissioner Jeff Kreger reported shale hauling, blading, spot-spraying of thistles and routine equipment maintenance.
Separately the BOCC approved resolutions to deposit funds related to road projects: Res. #26-118 (Hwy. D#2) for $15,000 reimbursement for a Road Maintenance/Repair Agreement and Res. #26-119 (Hwy. D#1) accepting a $416,321.08 BIA payment for Enterprise Road overlay. Both motions carried unanimously.
