Sheriff's Office cleared to seek $100,135 and $29,848 in state grant funding

The board authorized the Campbell County Sheriff's Office to submit two state grant applications during the April 1 meeting. County commissioners approved a Wyoming Office of Homeland Security State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) application for $100,135.26 covering the period July 1–Aug. 31, 2026.
Commissioners also approved a Wyoming Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office behavioral grants application for impaired driving and occupant protection overtime enforcement in the amount of $29,848.43 for the grant period July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027. Both approvals passed on unanimous recorded votes.
