Commissioners proclaim Week of the Young Child and other observances

The Campbell County Board of Commissioners approved a set of proclamations recognizing community observances during its April 1 meeting. The board adopted Resolution 3121-2026 declaring April 11–17, 2026 as Week of the Young Child and Resolution 3122-2026 recognizing April 2026 as Community College Month.
Commissioner Kelley McCreery moved to approve Resolution 3123-2026 proclaiming April 2026 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month; Commissioner Jerry Means seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved Resolution 3124-2026 proclaiming April 2026 as Wright Community Assistance Month to honor 40 years of service to the Wright community.
