On the county side the motion was made by Commissioner Len Carlman and seconded by Commissioner Natalia Macker; on the town side the motion was made by Councilmember Devon Viehman and seconded by Councilmember Alyson Spery. Both bodies recorded the motions as carried with all voting in favor.
The appointment followed a joint executive session and candidate interviews held earlier in the meeting. The record shows the boards interviewed multiple applicants for the Travel & Tourism vacancy and that Crista Valentino, Executive Director of the Travel and Tourism Board, answered questions from the board and council during the public portion of the meeting.
