At its June 22 meeting, the Parker County Commissioners Court moved through a slate of routine but consequential items: annual UniFirst uniform service renewal; authorization to destroy or salvage two tactical bulletproof vests from the Sheriff's Office; approval to purchase a 2026 Chevrolet 1500 crew cab for the Sheriff's Office using seized asset funds; renewal of the disaster debris removal RFP for 09/01/2026–08/31/2027; and a $15,000 transfer from tower contingency to complete the county's main communications tower.
The court also approved multiple land‑use actions including groundwater waiver approvals, final subdivision revisions, extensions of construction bonds, acceptance of maintenance bonds for Aledo River Phase 2 and others, and several counteroffers related to the East Bankhead Highway project. Most procedural motions were carried by voice vote and recorded as unanimous where noted.
