The board approved awarding architecture and engineering (A/E) services to Spalding DeDecker for Phase I development of Clinton Trails County Park under a Michigan Department of Natural Resources Recreation Passport grant.
Parks & Green Space Coordinator Kyle Thornton explained Phase I will include non-motorized trails, a vaulted toilet, expanded parking and walkways. A review team recommended Spalding DeDecker following an RFP process that generated twelve sealed proposals; the Parks & Green Space Commission unanimously recommended Spalding DeDecker. The board approved the award at a cost not to exceed $58,100 and authorized the County Administrator/Controller to sign necessary documents.
