At the March session, Buffalo County supervisors adopted new Rules of Government (Ordinance #26-03-07). County Administrator Lee Engfer told the board the rules had been provided for review and that, by statute, an Ethics Commission must be developed; the board agreed to add an ethics page to the rules after the commission is formed. The board approved the rules on a motion by Ms. McMillan Urell and seconded by Mr. Taylor.
The board directed staff to schedule a Committee of the Board meeting after the organizational meeting to work on the Ethics Commission structure and charter required by state law.
