Buffalo County supervisors acted on multiple Land Management ordinance amendments at the March 23 meeting. The board approved an amendment to the county’s zoning ordinance (Ordinance #26-03-03) described as language cleanups, a change to the manure storage ordinance (Ordinance #26-03-04) that revises the deadline to submit manure storage plans and annual reports to no later than April 15 to comply with state statute, updates to the Uniform Addressing Ordinance (Ordinance #26-03-05) to clarify issuance of fire numbers for private driveways, and an addition to the Solar Ordinance (Ordinance #26-03-06) adding decommissioning/demolition language applicable to new solar systems.
The package was forwarded by the Land Management Committee. Several motions were made and carried; Mr. Hadley stated he would abstain from voting on these amendments because the information packet provided for the meeting did not include the exhibits for these items, leaving him without time to review the changes.
