A councilmember said they plan to move the rollback rate at the upcoming adoption hearing pending verification of staff assumptions.
"I had the intention to bring a motion, at the rollback rate, assuming my assumptions are verified by staff this week," a councilmember said. City staff asked residents to review their notice of assessment, check homestead status and either email the city or attend the July 28 meeting to comment before the council votes.
The public hearing portion was closed for the evening and the council moved to adjourn back to work session; the motion to adjourn was made and seconded and the mayor called the vote to adjourn the public hearing portion.
