Mainstream Fiber says RFP response imminent as work begins in Montpelier and Hartford City

Wilson said his team is finalizing a draft contract and indicated he will speak with the commissioners’ attorney before any agreement is signed. “His team is finalizing draft contract to enter into the agreement. He needs to talk to commissioner attorney about the contract. Hopefully it will be done by next meeting,” the transcript records. Commissioners did not vote on the contract item at the meeting; Wilson indicated the company hopes to have a draft ready by the next meeting.
