The Page County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously on May 4 to create a festival subcommittee to plan a music festival scheduled for May 2027. Supervisor Susan Kile told the Board she will chair the group and recruit staff and community members to handle planning, logistics and execution.
"The subcommittee will consist of staff and community members recruited by Supervisor Kile," the minutes state, and Supervisor Ryan Cubbage moved to create the group. Supervisor Jeff Vaughan seconded the motion; the vote was 6-0 in favor. The Board will receive periodic status updates from Supervisor Kile as the subcommittee develops the event plan and timeline.
The action was recorded as a formal motion and vote during the work session. No funding or specific event vendors were approved at the May 4 meeting; the motion created the subcommittee only and directs future reporting to the Board.
