Auditors from Price Dayley & Associates presented the FY2025 audit to the Board and reported no significant findings; the FY2026 engagement letter signing was deferred until the next Monday meeting. Treasurer Wines presented a cash reconciliation showing balances, and commissioners signed the Transfer of Responsibility certificate.
On contracting, Commissioner Vern Eames moved to approve paying $77,117.70 for the annual Harris-Computer Arts master agreement; Commissioner Ronald Buhler seconded and the motion carried. The Board discussed the juvenile detention contract and the possibility of offering a counteroffer to pay a quarter of a bed rather than a full bed; Commissioner Bolduc tabled further action pending receipt of a counteroffer. Commissioner Eames also reported the Smiles Grant for Fairgrounds came in under bid, allowing purchase of an additional ceiling fan and the change form was signed.
