The Blackford County Board of Commissioners convened an executive session at 9:16 a.m. on Oct. 8, 2025, to hear an appeal of a Licking Township Trustee decision, but the scheduled applicant did not appear and no hearing took place.
Commissioner Dan Borgenheimer moved to appoint Auditor Lisa Simmons as secretary for the session; Commissioner Laura Coons seconded and the motion passed on a 3–0 vote. With no applicant present, the commissioners took no action on the trustee's decision and adjourned at 9:17 a.m. The meeting record shows the minutes were later approved on Oct. 20, 2025.
