Committee approves new mental-health HELP positions and accepts OMH funds for assisted outpatient treatment

Committee members voted to bundle and approve 2-26-HH-9, HH-12 and HH-13 to create and fill HELP program positions: one full-time Coordinator of Substance Use Initiatives and two budgeted Staff Social Worker positions at the Community Mental Health Center. The bundle was moved by Daly and seconded by Winslow and recorded as approved.
Separately, the committee accepted New York State Office of Mental Health funding to enhance the Assisted Outpatient Treatment program (2-26-HH-10). The committee also authorized contracting with Cayuga Counseling Services for FLIPA screening reimbursement (2-26-HH-11) and approved continuing contracts for substance use and mental health services funded by Opioid Settlement Funds (2-26-HH-14).
